I had a scheduled appointment and I was told immediately that they would probably not even see my jeep til the following day.
I am a little disappointed with the quality of customer service I received at this dealership. I am now waiting patiently for the call telling me the part is in. When I picked up my car I didn’t have to deal with the disrespectful rep who checked me in.
“ well we’ll get around to you in a few days.” It’s kind of like showing up at the hospital for a scheduled operation and being told On the other hand, I think it shows a total lack of consideration to not be prepared to run a diagnostic test in a timely manner for a person that has an appointment. The car is safe to drive and in the current environment I’m not surprised that there is an issue with parts availability. My wife was kind enough to drive 20 miles through the aforementioned snow storm to retrieve me.įour days later I got my car back and it needs a part that might be available in a month or so. I’m not sure that he didn’t slightly tweak the door. Then just to top it off the rep locked my keys in the car and had to pry the door ajar to reach in with a long tool to flip the lock manually. I would like to point out not one person in the dealership was wearing a mask or practicing social distancing so there is some kind of a huge disconnect there. “ No because of covid we are not giving rides or providing loaners”. At this point I was not a happy camper and didn’t want the car back till I was sure it was safe and dependable. It was more of a, if you don’t like it you can go to hades tone. Note the preceding sentence was not spoken in an accommodating tone of voice. If you don’t want your appointment we can reschedule “. Me “What? I have an appointment “ service rep “that just means we will put you in line to have the car looked at. Imagine my surprise when I was told I could get my car back in four or five days. Now my understanding is that the way to diagnose the meaning of the check engine light is to plug it into the computer and it tells you what is wrong. Come the day of and it’s the biggest snow storm of the year but I’ve got an appointment and I’m going to keep it. With my schedule and their openings I had to schedule 5 weeks out. The check engine idiot light came on so I contacted the Arapaho Chrysler dealer for an appointment. I have a Pacifica hybrid with under 9000 miles on it. Auto nation might regret reminding me to fill out this review.
