The incumbent is expected to exercise initiative, discretion and independent judgment in carrying out their duties. As an in-house linguistic expert for Spanish into English, the incumbent will serve as a mentor to the Operations team, and will provide Project Managers with the linguistic feedback necessary to fulfill all client project deliveries within promised timelines. The linguist may also be required to assess client linguistic feedback, as well as translations provided by other LLTS vendors. The incumbent is a key member of the Operations team and is responsible for translating, proofreading, and reviewing customer documents from Spanish into English.
